Programs & Impact
Five paths of service
Every program area below is grounded in the objects of our registered trust deed — nothing more, nothing less.
Temple & Spiritual Heritage
The trust's first principal object is the construction of a Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple at Venkatapuram — a spiritual anchor for the region — alongside the care of the temples and sacred places the region already has.
- Construct a temple of Sri Venkateshwara Swamy
- Protect, preserve, and maintain temples, religious places, and structures of historic, aesthetic, architectural, or cultural significance
- Support meditation and spiritual learning
- Promote moral and spiritual values through media, conferences, seminars, and public meetings
Current work: Bhoomi Puja performed at the temple site; construction planning underway.
Heritage, Culture & Arts
Coastal Andhra's buildings, crafts, languages, and festivals carry generations of skill and memory. The trust works to document them, conserve them, and pass them on.
- Create public awareness for preserving India's cultural and natural heritage
- Preserve historic buildings, quarters, towns, and domestic architecture showing artistic and skilled craftsmanship
- Document cultural and natural heritage; run pilot conservation projects
- Promote traditional arts and crafts; support research in languages and production of literature
- Publish journals, books, newsletters, and posters; set up libraries and information centers
- Facilitate study, courses, workshops, and conferences
Current work: Documentation of local heritage sites beginning with the villages of Rambilli Mandal.
Rural Education
Education is the surest path out of rural poverty. The trust supports schooling, vocational skills, and adult literacy — and the quiet essentials that make studying possible.
- Establish schools providing formal and non-formal education for holistic development
- Establish and administer educational institutions, industrial schools, technical institutions, vocational training centres, and adult education centres
- Promote literacy and foster among children the spirit of service, self-help, simplicity, and sacrifice
- Upgrade agricultural and livelihood knowledge among the rural poor
Current work: School supplies distributed to 80 children; weekend tuition classes with volunteer teachers.
Health, Food & Relief (Annadanam & Seva)
Annadanam — the gift of food — anchors the trust's service. Around it grows care for the sick, the elderly, orphans, widows, and anyone struck by disaster.
- Help the poor, needy, sick, and suffering; provide rest and relief
- Promote health education and preventive medical care; assist institutions providing medical and social relief
- Care for orphans, poor children, widows, and persons with disabilities — including building homes for them — irrespective of caste, creed, or colour
- Run, maintain, and develop old age homes for all
- Participate in famine, flood, fire, and cyclone relief programs irrespective of caste, creed, colour, or nationality
Current work: Monthly Annadanam serving 200–300 meals at the Venkatapuram community hall.
Environment Protection
The groves, tanks, and hillocks around a village are its life-support system. The trust protects the places where nature and the sacred meet.
- Preserve and conserve natural resources and cultural properties
- Protect areas of environmental significance and scenic beauty: sacred groves, hills, hillocks, water bodies and adjoining areas, open and wooded areas
Current work: Native-species plantation drives along the village tank bund.
